Privacy Policy
Who we are
Hyriva (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered job discovery and application assistant via our mobile app, website at hyriva.app, and the optional Chrome extension Hyriva Apply Assist.
What we collect
- Account: email address and authentication credentials (via Supabase Auth).
- Profile & preferences: name, phone, LinkedIn/GitHub URLs, work authorization answers, job preferences (roles, locations, salary, work type).
- Resume: uploaded resume files and parsed resume content used for matching and tailoring.
- Application activity: jobs you view, tailor, apply to, and related status history.
- Chrome extension (optional): if you install Hyriva Apply Assist, we sync your signed-in Application Profile and form answers you enter on job application pages so we can autofill matched fields and learn for future applications. The extension runs on apply pages where it is installed (including major ATS boards) and hyriva.app / our API.
- Site analytics (Vercel, marketing site): the public marketing pages on hyriva.app may use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or collect personal identifiers for ads.
- Site analytics (Meta Pixel): our websites may use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and ad performance. Meta may receive page-view events and device/browser information under Meta’s terms. You can control ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
- Device & notifications: push notification tokens and basic device identifiers needed to deliver the service.
- Payments: billing is processed by Stripe. We store subscription status and plan; card details are handled by Stripe, not stored on our servers.
- Support: messages you send to support (including optional screenshots).
How we use your data
- Match you with relevant job listings and personalize digests.
- Tailor resumes, cover letters, and interview prep using AI.
- Auto-fill application forms with information you provide.
- Process subscriptions and prevent abuse.
- Send transactional email and optional push notifications you enable.
We do not sell your personal data.
AI processing
Resume and job text may be sent to Anthropic (Claude) to generate matches, tailored resume content, cover letters, and related features. Anthropic processes that content under their terms and privacy policy. Always review AI-generated content before submitting to employers.
Job data sources
We aggregate publicly available job listings from ATS boards and job sites (for example Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Adzuna, and others). Employer postings are used for matching and display in the app.
Storage & security
Data is stored in Supabase with access controls intended so you can only access your own account data. We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Retention & deletion
We retain account data while your account is active. You may delete your account on the web at hyriva.app/delete-account (sign in and confirm), or in the Hyriva app under Settings → Account → Delete Account. You can also request deletion by emailing support@hyriva.app from your account email.
Children
Hyriva is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your choices
- Update profile and preferences in the app.
- Disable push notifications in device settings.
- Cancel a subscription via Settings → Manage / Cancel Subscription or the Stripe customer portal.
- Delete your account as described above.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Hyriva Apply Assist uses Chrome extension APIs only to sign you in, sync your Application Profile, autofill supported job-application pages, attach your resume PDF, and save answers you enter. The use of information received from Google APIs and Chrome APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for ads, or share it with data brokers.
